Viking Moorings's quality system aims for the following: 

• Ensure that the products and services offered to the company's customers at all  times correspond to or exceed the customer's expectations. This will be achieved by always making clear what the company's current demands for quality and necessary controls of processes are.
  
• Products and services provided by Viking Moorings shall always be delivered in accordance with current rules and regulations.

• The quality system shall provide the necessary conditions for effective management of all processes.

• Encourage to and enable continuous improvement of all processes on all of Viking Moorings's locations.

The quality system must correspond to the international standard EN ISO 9001 :2000.  The management of Viking Moorings has a collective responsibility to maintain the integrity of the system. The management must also make sure that sufficient resources to maintain planned function of the system are available at all times. The company's CEO is responsible for the development and implementation of the quality system. The CEO also has the overall responsibility for the function of the system. The company will work continuously to create an environment where emphasis is put on improvement of quality. Consequently, as the quality system provides a basis for further development of products, processes and marketing possibilities, both Viking Moorings and their customers are expected to increase their competitive force.

All employees are encouraged to participate in the development and improvement of the quality system, as well as to participate actively in reporting, internal meetings, process controls and internal audits. All employees are expected to be familiar with the general demands and regulations of Viking Moorings Quality Policy, as well as with those procedures and instructions that influences the quality of their individual work. It is every employee's individual responsibility to ensure that all work executed satisfies the company's quality policy.
